Chopper gas tank

They won’t implement open trading. They’ve said that many times. But then again they’ve said a lot of things...

 

doing alpha regularly I have gotten enough parts to build 5 bikes if I wanted. I used to trade them to Jane for chopper upgrades but as my off road bike is maxed I dont even pick them up anymore other than engine parts for ATV

 

You still need to obtain 5 mechanics packs from Jane every so often for a raiders quest. Chopper tank give two mechanic packs, forks give one and wheels give 0.5 packs. They are quite useful in that regards as no other item gives nearly as much except for fully complete generators (one pack) or rusty blue engines (0.5 pack) but those are not easily found and are quite annoying to bring all the way to the station. The next best thing, for reference, you can give to Jane are engine parts or atv wheels, and those only give 0.1 mechanic packs.

In other words, I would still pick up the chopper parts you get from bunker.

Also, pro-tip, you only get credit for the raider tasks once you actually collect from Jane. So if you don't have the task, you can still give the chopper parts to Jane and have her hold your mechanic parts and collect the packs when you do get the raider task.

 

good point on the pro tip I did not think of that, I stop picking up parts
from the bunker as I have 3 chests full at home but this solves that problem

 

Yeah, sorry I never thought about posting that tip. I’ve been trading stuff in for quite a while and just having her keep the boxes until I need them. I just assumed everyone was doing it.

Another thing then, put 3 pups in and feed them but don’t upgrade them until you get the raiders task too.

 

Been doing the pups but didn’t think about doing the same for Jane....doh!

 

Lol! I did the 1 wood 2 stones trick and got the chopper tank on like 3-5th orange box, did not count exactly. Been trying for 2 years with no results.
Could be pure coincidence.

 

And with the same trick i now got a wheel. Only 3 engines to go.

 

Not been trying lately unless you have the worst luck possible, I get a tank every 2 or 3 bunker runs.
