Another post-apocalyptic winter is over, making way for spring and Season 6. Let’s get it started!
When exploring different corners of the map, there is a chance to run into settlements of survivors, peaceful and not quite. One of such camps has been discovered on the lake shore. Perhaps, there used to be more residents in it, but now it’s only Chuck, guarding Settlement most of the time, hunter Casey, Vivien, collecting all kinds of stuff, and a local scientist called Harry. Have a chat with them, they’ll give you some rewardable work to do.
Chuck is unsuccessfully trying to protect Settlement from a group of raiders and he needs a companion to deal with those daredevils and their leaders. Stock up on weapons, there’s going to be an entire war!
You can find the bandits on the event locations Town ruins and Raiders’ Camp, which will be available from the first week of the season.
Vivien is into collecting things. Sometimes even too much. She’s accusing you of stealing something from her. So offensive! Prove your innocence and find the real thief. Ask people around if they’ve seen anything. Also, Viv is handling some shady business with raiders, she may need help with that. They are holed up in Motel, so you’ll have to go there to talk to them. Vivien will start getting you into these and other troubles from the second week of the season.
Casey is a local hunter. He somehow managed to make friends with a bear and now he’s asking you to help him protect the bear from wolves, zombies, and other dangers. Quests from Casey will start from the third week of the season.
Scientist Harry stays out of sight and daylight, hiding underground, in the basement at the location of Town ruins. He says he’s working on some antidote and he needs someone to help. You have to find out where assistant Samantha has gone and find the missing pages of his diary with researches and help him test the antidote on a zombie from Sewer.
Quests from the Scientist will be available from the first week of the season as soon as you open the basement after one of Chuck’s quests.
Between the quests, every resident of Settlement will ask you to bring various necessary items. If you don’t respond to their requests, they may not open the next quest for you.
People from Settlement won’t trust any random person. You’ll have to earn their trust, which is divided into several levels – from cold neutrality to honor and reverence. Upgrade the reputation level by earning points for completing quests from Chuck, Casey, Harry, and Vivien. And if they get a soft spot for you, then you’ll get even more rewards. And rewards like these are truly worthy of effort - there is a great opportunity to get parts for an ATV including transmission!
The settlement of survivors is located near the lake holding the fish that doesn’t live in any other reservoirs yet – it’s trout. With it, you can make 2 new dishes with delicious buffs. Those survivors who haven’t opened the “Fisherman” skill yet should not be upset – the drop rate of this skill has been increased!
At last, what is a season without motorcycles? Speaking of that, Lenny recently bragged that he’d assembled a new bike. You can go to the Gas Station and try to exchange tokens for it.
On top of that, you can fill your shelf with new underwear and backpacks. Some skins can be obtained as rewards for residents’ reputation.
According to the news from beyond the Wall, the number of friends to play with in multiplayer has been increased from 5 to 10.
Don’t let us distract you from playing any longer, good luck!

"It sounds weird, but the crater more and more seems like my last chance. There’s no more strength to wander through this wasteland among the charred bushes and ash covering all around. That explosion behind the Wall destroyed everything that used to provide us with safety and income. I bet those nerds scientists put a comma at a wrong place again, and BANG! We got nothing left. I got nothing left! And that crater, which surely was the beginning of all that, even now looks like Eden for desperate seekers of… I don’t even know what. Normal life? Human work? It all is said to be there. And even more. I’m going there, because I don’t want to see disgusting zombies anymore, but humans who were lucky to survive such an explosion behind the Wall and brave enough to try to rebuild the common way of life. I’m going there, because I want to relate to that and be useful to someone else but myself. I’m going there, because I don’t want to go anywhere else. I’m going to finally stop. Once and for all.

Survivors, recently the city in the crater has opened its doors for you. We’re sure you have a whole range of impressions from the first days at the new location and ideas of what you’d like to see in the future. Share your opinions in #ldoe-eng-only !

Not many people know that long before the work on the crater in Sector 7 began, the idea of the settlement like that had been already developed. Our artists began to create sketches of the community of survivors a long time ago. City dwellers united to secure themselves from the outer threat, including through the landscape. This might threaten the lack of resources, conflicts within the community, but countless attacks by hordes of zombies are now in the past. Today we’re gonna show you a couple of early concept arts of the city in the crater.

It’s hard to find turtles or a rat in sewers of the zombie apocalypse, while zombie-mutants are as many as you like. Survivors, what kind of threat do you think you are going to face deep down, in the sewers of the fallen world? Share your opinion in #ldoe-eng-only ! Season 6 is just around the corner!

In today’s under development section we’re showing another mysterious location you are going to visit in season 6. Friendly neighbors left these houses long ago, so you’d better stay alert. Season 6 is coming, survivors! #underdevelopment
    [IMG]

New locations and quests. Dangerous enemies and loyal allies. All these and more in season 6! Are you ready?

The question about Brutalizer won in the second voting of the “Ask the Devs” section. So, that’s the one we’ll answer. Our experiment with the nail gun caused a positive reaction in the community. Many of you willingly shared your impressions in comments. We are happy to receive feedback like that. But before adding an imba weapon, different from the other guns in mechanics, we have to run additional tests, re-check the balance, get the data from analysts. All that is required to figure out the best way to implement Brutalizer into the game. Otherwise, it may just ruin the game economy. If everyone is satisfied with the result, Brutalizer will return to the game.

Survivors, in comments under some posts we said that Season 6 was coming this week, and we really expected it to be out by this time. However, we decided to postpone the release date and re-check all content prepared for the new season. That’ll take a few days. And to make waiting less boring, we want to share a small spoiler
