Update 1.11.12: Mercenaries There are new dwellers on the global map, which means it’s time to meet mercenaries! Mercenaries are peaceful guys and are always ready to work with you on favorable terms. Having become friends with their leader and offered a low price, you can make a contract with one the available mercenaries and get a great assistant for a limited time. To make a contract you’ll need special points. You can get them for exchanging field rations, first aid kits and cards. To do this, you’ll have to loot boxes in forests, woods, and kill a couple of zombies. You can have only one mercenary. If you decide to change your decision, a new mercenary will replace the one selected earlier. Each mercenary is unique and has their strengths and weaknesses. Someone will help you to obtain ore, another mercenary will increase your gained experience, some other one will be afraid of going to bunker, and someone under no circumstances will go to the police station. Mercenaries don’t have their own weapon and they have minimum armor on, but they can take weapons from their backpack. Don’t forget to give your bro good armor and put weapons and first aid kits with bandages into their backpack beforehand. If a mercenary has a perk that lets them obtain resources, they will need respective tools to do this. The strategy is simple – you add a pickaxe or a hatchet and go farm the locations you need. A wounded mercenary will heal themselves in an emergency if they have medicines or food in their backpack. A mercenary can die of a fatal wound. They can be saved with a shot of adrenaline. Look for needles in bunker, the police station and at the farm. There are 3 ranks of mercenaries: Rank 1. · The mercenary has only 1 skill. · The perk may be positive as well as negative. · The contract is valid for 30 minutes. Rank 2. · The mercenary has 2 skills. · One of the perks is always positive. · The second perk may be positive as well as negative. · The contract is valid for 45 minutes. Rank 3. · The mercenary has 3 skills. · Two of them are always positive. · The third one may be positive as well as negative. · The contract is valid for 60 minutes. Mercenaries and raiders prefer staying away from each other’s business, so no mercenary will help you to raid other players. Be careful when choosing a true companion depending on your set tasks. If after some traveling you discovered that you want to be all alone for some time, you can always remove your mercenary from the party and get them back to mercenaries’ camp while the contract is still valid. If your mercenary ran away after your contract expires and you decide to take another mercenary, the stuff you gave to your assistant will be in the chest in mercenaries’ camp. Some more points: · If your mercenary stands in your way, just call them. If they get stuck in a passage, call them as well. · If you are in a multiplayer party, you won’t be able to call your mercenary – you’ll have to leave the party. · If you summoned a mercenary and then decided to go to Sector 7 with bros, your mercenary will return to the camp and will be waiting for you there. And last but not least, some stuff we have upgraded and fixed. – The bug when a zombie appeared its icon could look the other way. . – The bug when the friends screen had an incorrect image instead of Radio tower. – The bug when after going to the global map there were incorrect icons on the screen. – The bug when after folding the game you could get a message from a group chat from a party that you had already left. – The bug when there could be incorrect party info on single locations. – The bug when there wasn’t a party mate icon on the mini map. – The bug when there was incorrect info on a party mate on the screen if you had written their name in a wrong register when adding. – The bug when the player couldn’t go to the multiplayer location if they got a screen of being ready during loading of Sector 7 Camp. – The bug of incorrect display of walls on mini map in motel. – The bug when the effect of skill Good Memory didn’t apply to B-complex. – The bug when you couldn’t use buttons Equip and Use in Chopper trunk. – The bug when using Large Quiver added Red Laser to Bow. – The bug when zombies didn’t run after player at entrance to Police Station. – The bug when player ran to Recycler too fast. – The bug when player got damage from raiders through a Garage wall. – The mistake in German localization in the Settings window. –The bug that incorrectly calculated the time of feeding dogs. – The bug when enemy characters health in Oak Clearing was displayed in yellow. – Fixed the door in Police Station that wasn’t placed well. – We made lots of technical changes in AI characters that’s why before you restart such locations as bunker, farm, police station, you may face some strange zombie behavior. As soon as the locations are restarted, everything will be right, so don’t panic! Don’t forget that mercenaries are like nomads, they don’t belong to one place for a long time, so don’t miss the event. It takes place from 26.04. по 13.05.
