I personally think the fort moss event is one of the coolest parts of the updates, and I'll probably be focusing on it for the most part, given the late-game requirements of bravo and the ATV. So here's a thread for fort moss tips and discussion!

Also, I created a list of everything you need for levels 1-26 of the fort moss quests (I haven't gotten around to adding the last few levels yet), so I thought I'd share with you all in case someone else wants to know. Credit to the youtuber Z.D. YT, it was his videos I watched to compile this list.

I didnt know the barbed wire recipe when I first made the list. I do now, each barbed wire costs 5 aluminum wire, 2 oak plank, and 10 scrap metal. For all 22 required from level 1-26 that comes to 110 aluminum wire, 44 oak, and 210 scrap.

also here are a few quick totals for some of the resources used the most in this event (I may have done some math wrong, but these should be pretty close.)
    Building materials:
    2200 pine plank
    865 rope
    225 stone brick
60 oak (not counting the barbed wire)
219 scrap (not counting the barbed wire)
    Consumables:
    59 water
    47 jerky
    28 bandage
    24 alcohol
Radio tower resources (so you can keep spares in case you have to fix it more than once):
    78 iron
    92 bolts
    56 wire
    29 transistor

you get rewards for every level you complete. they start off pretty lame, but get better as you go (actually, some of the lame early rewards help fulfill quests a few levels later, which is nice). some of the later ones even reward rarer ATV resources, I believe, and I think the very last level actually has an atv transmission, though I dont see myself getting that far since in the last few levels he starts asking for thing like copper and electronic circuits. plus the hordes get harder as you go, so I'm not sure yet how hard of a horde I'll be able to take on. Also there is a leaderboard where you will get a prize at the end of the event depending on where you rank compared to other players. even the lower brackets have pretty decent rewards (though if I recall the very bottom one only has the battle pass reward, so if you're free to play you get nothing unless you get into the next of up or above).

Edit: found a picture of the leaderboard prizes.

what happens if you die at fort moss do you get to loot your body?

also how come I had to start over twice the hoard did not blow up the tower either time and I did not die. I did however defend with melee weapons so I guess Kefir doesn't like that they want us wasting guns

I did and getting very pissed at it hoard is broken, there is a timer you need to kill them in x amount of time otherwise you lose even though the tower is up

I tested it thoroughly and unless you use firearms you can't kill the hoard quickly enough before the timer runs out

When destroying junk do you need all the tools shown? I saw some previews and they only had one of the tools. Am I missing something?

yes you need all the tools shown but, they do not need to be full durability!!

So start saving your shovels, SBMs, etc when they are in the red and bring them to fort moss

I’m probably not going to do it anymore, is it even going to be worth it? I already burned through a VSS (only one I’ve ever got) and a glock and I couldn’t even keep off the hoard. I looked on yt and people are building defences but I don’t think I can do it because I’m already pretty much outta guns, Alfa bunker loot I opened all crates and god they were trash.

Fort moss is geared at long time players, those of us who have a decent gun stash waiting to be used.

Fort Moss (FM) is definitely geared towards people that have been around for a while. Let me tell you, if my base was not as well developed and I still had to work on it, FM would be a hard pass for me.

Its all fun and games till you start asking me for planks! I'll give you all the logs you want but lets be serious now even with a developed base giving planks away as early as FM lvl8 is ridiculous! Its starting to screw with my coal production thus having direct effect on my steel production and this is waaaaaay unacceptable...
