    Hi everyone,

Been looking at this forum for the last month or so and finally decited to register.

Been playing for about a month and some. Got to level 90... Build a chopper and now working on the generator. Completley FTP.

I see a lot of people complaining about how hard is this and that, but tbh. The beggining is a lot of grinding and manufacturing armor and weapons untill you finish alpha bunker a couple of times.

Also this forum and youtube are your best friends.

BR for now, especialy to Ishtvaan.

Welcome to the madness. Complaining comes with the basic idea of getting screwed a few times. Plus what do buddies usually do? Complain. Lol

I try to minimize as much grinding as possible... I’m only in a couple times each day, so one day I’ll do one big grind on a certain material, say I do wood, then if I go to yellow zone and do it 3 times then I can get over 600 wood. I just kill all the zombies and put it on auto.

I haven’t been grinding much of late. I do need to go after oak soon. Raiding has caused me to quickly fill racks and whatnot. I need to do some upgrading

I can't do raiding because I don't have a good base and also because i can't find 2 engines for raider task.

Takes time trust me but once you’re ready it’s a gold mine

the analogy is good but not quite accurate. i would say that raiding is like panning for gold. you can get a lot of little specks of gold (resources raids) but once in a while you can find that gold nugget (gun raids) that covers all your expenses.

If I found oak in a raid I wouldn’t have to go farm it later. I’m currently running out of room lol. Brought home a huge stockpile of charcoal last night. So I don’t need to go after wood for a bit.

I belive the begining is the only pain in the a** because you have to grind for everything.
I also log on maybe 2-3 times a day and go on grinding runs for materials once a week.
After a while it gets less and less.
Most of the time its just waiting for alfa bunker to reset. XD

I will still have to grind for oak (missing 2 wrenches for the generator), so I can start building stone walls.

On topic of raiding... I saw a bunch of videos where they say it has been nerfed and not really profitabile to do it.
    True or false?

I need oak, but it just is too hard to farm at red zones.

you should take the resources to craft iron hatchets to the oak zones as opposed to bringing iron hatchets.

when I used to go oaking, I brought 100 iron bars, 80 tape (you find the next 20 in chests), 60 planks and 40 nails. I equipped a machete, glock and tactical and stack of medkits. I also brought maybe 6-7 extra melees, an extra glock and extra set of tactical. You cut down a few oak trees and split them so you can auto. Once you get your inventory ready, go to red zone oaks and go back and forth from yellow and red zones until you use all your iron hatchets. You should return with close to 400 oak logs.

    Thx for the tip.
    Just finished my generator yesterday.
What about the AI base that openes in the north, I read somewhere that people used it as a temp base for storing materials... Anyone knows any details? Is there a reset timer when you first visit it or?

you can no longer use the AI bases as storage. The moment you visit the base, a countdown will ensue and at the end of that countdown, the base will disappear permanently.

I currently have tons of items at the AI bases but I can no longer visit them, lest i lose my items.

if i had space in my base, i could perhaps go there and take my stuff out. I'm not really worried--if i lose it, oh well, it's just guns and melees.
