I'm guessing u can ask them questions if by chance yall r on at same time or advice like in here but in game

 

You can see when they are online and you can chat with them. Nothing else at the moment.

 

At this point u can really only message on the game.

 

Still having someone to talk to while waiting in the game is pretty cool. I can't get my real idiot friends to play and I'm lightly weight obsessed. Lol

You do know that a friend can’t meet you in game? All you can do is chat with friends and meet clan mates in sector 7.

 

Really? But why do we meet random players when exploring any zone of the map?

Unfortunately, with a friend limit of 10 and a complete lack of any point in having friends in the game the result is the privelage to engage in pointless discussions and submit to gameplay interrogations regarding basic gaming functions. However, during the hour hike to mine copper and die of hypothermia friends can provide a diversion.
