Looks very comfortable and appealing to the eye.
The raiders will still be there when you get back chillin in that fine couch
Not a screenshot, but I thought I’d try the iOS screen recording feature out. Made it a little laggy, which is what I’m blaming for me going the wrong way a couple of times
Copper and steel Oh my! Making some changes with my recycled stuff.
Did you bought three steel rooms from in-game shop?
Nice bases guys I'm still on advanced wood getting planks for stone wall now my aim
Hey guys, comments on the following suggested layout please (attached)
Design focus for me is:
Minimize cost (mainly level 1 walls)
Maximise defense for high loot crates (hence inner walls level 3)
Maximise unpredictability for raiders using bait crates, honeycombing and using multiple walls to get to core
Maintain good workflow.
Just built my first steel wall. I am protecting my two gun trunks. I layed a second steel floor one left after I took the picture.
What’s the benefit of building steel floors? Do you need them to meet requirements for anything?
Steel floor is required to build steel wall/door. Same as lv2 and lv3 wall/floor.
When the steel cutter release. I bet that they gonna reduce the noise when break lv3 wall like what they did to lv1 wall. Or at least a lv4 wall make more noise when break === more protection.
Besides, anyone who have 3-4 layers of level 3 wall don't need one more layer, they need a stronger one since the home space is limited.
I’m constantly running back and forth from yellow and green locations gathering at level 52 now lol
TRRRYING to get something done. I like never find rubber.... like ever. Lol like I fucking hate rubber....
but i don’t even have a complete level 1 floor wall base yet so. I’m just trying to focus that I guess. Then raids maybe? Idk I heard it’s a good way to start the journey to getting a chopper...
But idk how good my base has to be to start raiding?
And how... do I even get guns to raid?
I usually have a crowbar lol
I don’t think I can raid with a mean crowbar game?
Swang Swang Swaaang
your sole priority at your point in the game needs to be getting the chopper and the chopper skill. the best way to do the former is to do bunker runs all levels and get as many tickets as you can to open all the bunker crates (which can give up to 8 guns). you should use your guns to kill the Blind One in hard mode. the best way to do the latter is to farm red zone pine and strip the map of resources. you should be able to clear the zone of zombies with t2 reinforced armor and 2 crowbars--both of which are fairly easy to craft.
don't worry too much about raiding and guns yet. once you master bunker and can easily open all crates every run then you can branch out on raiding in hopes of getting engine parts to complete your chopper.
How many stacks of food should I bring to red zones and bunkers? My experience with red zones is about 2 toxic bloaters 2nspitters wolves and AI rushing me when I’m sneak walking around the edge. Scared me off twice...
Seems like a lot to handle for an entry battle when I arrive
I mean without guns anyway. Taking hits swinging a crowbar might be do able... idk... I’ll prob have to stack food and just take the damage?
i would bring a couple of stacks until you get used to it. one reason so many rush you at once is that you just aggro them while you run away from others. if an enemy rushes you, run back to an area that you already cleared. don't run away towards new unexplored areas. also, if you look at your top right minimap, you will see several circles. the outline of the minimap is the outermost circle. any toxic spitter will rush you the moment you breach the outer circle, which is why toxic spitters will always see you before you see them unless you crouch everywhere. toxic abominations will rush you the moment you break the next inner circle. all the other zombies and wolves will rush you the moment you break the innermost circle.
I don’t know exactly what your saying about these circles on the mini map?
What I’m getting is that your saying as soon as I enter. Spitters will just auto come attack me. And if I go in a little more... abominations/bloater auto come in... ? Just depending on how far I enter the map they trigger even if they’re on the opposite side?
I usually crouch when I enter and go in until I find a guy to sneak hit and then have guys running at me from every angle alone with AI ... i should def watch some red run videos. :/ I wonder if they’re the same this update as last one? So I know what to search for.
Ok... yeah that’s kind of what I was thinking... so it’s better to try to agro spitters before going inside the map anywhere close at all really. And abominations next, then so on
3 walls to go, after that build modification for metal cutters (if worst happen)
Pic isn't great I know
