The Blind One Instantly Recharging to Full Health

    Two bunker runs in a row now I will have The Blind One down to about 200 health (after interrupting his eating twice), and he'll suddenly run to the middle of the room and instantly (and I do mean instantly)regenerate to 1000 health. Has anyone else seen this?

    No, I have never seen that happen.

    Did he leave the room at all? Did he charge the entrance wall?

    That's a bug from very start when Blind One was introduced but I haven't seen this bug in a long but I guess it still exists.

    Yes, I'm sure he charged the entrance wall a few times.

    Ah, good to know. Never happened to me before until update 1.9.2.

    Next time, only let him charge the walls with the alarms.

    Well I have that same issue for last 6-7 runs to the blind one. So I am tired now of losing guns and armour

    Joy, this just happened to me...
    He went to charge after destroying my armor, so I went into inventory to change (started with half swat to use it up) and I come out and he’s 1000 again...
    Worse, he gets to eat again too :confused::mad:

    Thought it might have been a glitch from hanging out in my inventory too long, but I think he charged right at the door so maybe that was it

    I tried again once since I first posted this, that time only letting him charge the walls with the alarms, per Hobbes' advice. No instant recharge to 1000 that time. Here's hoping it's as simple as that, and that they eventually fix it!

    I had a similar experience. Got TBO to below 700hp, hit the alarm and he kept regenerating. Wha? Back at full health I keep going until he’s below 400hp hit the alarm and he keeps regenerating. Wha? What’s this bug?

    Then I realised I was hitting the alarms in the wrong sequence....DOH!

    For TBO in Alpha, when you get him down to under 700hp he goes to the center of the room and starts to regenerate. Hitting the left wall alarm stops him regenerating and the fight resumes. Same when he’s at 400hp but this time you hit the right wall alarm. After that he’s all yours for the kill!

    Think the 2nd is at 350hp,
    Anyway, the idea is be close to the right alarm when he gets there...
    He heals fast, so it’s better to forsake a couple shots to his arse if you can get a better position in the next round

    Happened to me once but was totally my fault, I wandered too far from his line of sight and instead of charging he reset to full health, so now i always make sure i can see him .

    set myself up for the first alarm perfectly, then about halfway to the second blindy runs his head into the locker next to the 1st alarm and gets stuck...
    Take a couple shots for minimal damage, so I go get in his face and take a couple hits see if he dislodges...he don’t of course

    So I piss away my back up m16 for micro damage till he gets to 400hp, thinking he’ll break free to feed...but he catches me off guard and feeds on the bare floor and goes back over 700 :mad:

    Sooo...I piss away both my used shotguns and I’m gunless...but I got a machete, I can get him from behind he can’t hit me but no sneak bonus...hack away to 118hp and I’m now unarmed

    About 5 mins of punching him and he finally dies...

    At least I saved my armor and some food, so I cash in for the stupid colt which is now the #2 hard mode reward and pitch it in the trash-cycler for 2 springs

    If he stucks try to go to him and let him hit you 5 times and he will charge and exit from walls. At least works for me

    Fool me once or twice shame on you...third time, table flip, stabstabstab “go @&$%#!!!”

    I’m done with blindy, 3 times in a row I die lagging on the exploder, 3 times in a row Blind1 bugs and cheats and who needs damn floppies anyway?...taking my business to the farm.

    Handled both alarms flawlessly, a perfect kill...boom, full health

    How’d they fix the police bug so quick but this never changes?
