Surprised not to see a thread on this already, so here goes.

    1) The update talks about clans being implemented, though I have yet to figure out how that works. Probably need to check my radio tower....

    2) New "special" zombies were added in each area. They vary between areas, and don't always show up. The one I ran into in a red zone didn't see all that tough -- basically a Toxic Abomination with 200 more HP. Dropped nothing special.

    3) But this part is big -- the Survival Guide item is outstanding. You basically earn points by doing tasks, which causes stuff to pop up in your inbox. Thing is, the stuff that pops up is good. If you max out all the tasks, you'll earn 21 guns (including a grenade launcher), hordes of melee weapons, hundreds of coins, a bunch of blueprints (including a rare one for the SCAR), steel, 4-5 or so electronic circuits, same with engine parts....and that's in addition to armor, food, healing items. Oh, and for those of you curious -- a gas tank.

    It's massive.

Point is, if you've ever paid anything for any item in this game, then you don't want to miss the survival guide item.

You would think Jarhead works for Kefir based on how much he is promoting the Survival Guide lol.

However, I completely agree! Survival Guide is great for all players.

I was pretty shocked when I saw everything you got. The other packs you can buy are pretty much garbage on which guys have been wasting money (in my opinion). Small example of how this is different:

You can spend $4.99 to get one box of dog food that gives you an increased chance of a higher level dog.

But that same dog food is just one of the items that is in that $4.99 survival guide pack that I didn't even mention because there was so much other, better stuff. Guns, steel, engine parts, mods, magazines, etc. etc. etc.. It's like Kefir finally decided they needed to make the game much easier to keep/attract new players.

Even changed the thread title to emphasize the point.

Last time I was tempted to make a purchase, I was well disappointed by the outcome. Even still, i was tempted by this and tried to buy it but got "Oops service unavailable" after I had cleared the purchase.
Dare not try again until I'm sure money hasn't been taken from my account..

I've given him .99 before, just as the dogs came out. But this actually sounds interesting.

Perhaps he will earn some money.

I agree. This is a good deal for the $4.99 compared to all other boxes, crates, etc you can buy. As long as you’re able to obtain all the points needed to max out the levels it will be definitely be more than worth the cost

I'm kinda disappointed about the lack of "new zombies" tho. I was hoping to see some interesting ones :) maybe I just am not in the right places. I'm trying to check all locations out for that. So, if we buy the 4.99 pack, is that for the for the whole 29 days?

Ya, 29 days...if you don’t pay you get all the pretty good stuff on the left that you earn in points

...if you pay you get all the great bonus stuff to the right

Seems like taking it to level60 max shouldn’t be too hard, see how the tasks go

Sure get a lot of regular backpacks, looking forward to that

Read about a “Timmy the Bloat” or some such thing, like a hard mode exploder with the parasites...be fun when that kills me

I met the crazy sob on a yellow zone, really freaked out when the parasites spawned. Luckily I had a zip gun on me to kill the parasites.

I totally agree ... drop rate decreased a lotttt. I got to level 28 and only got 1 blue, 3 green, and 61 regular... so it was totally not worth it .

Oh also they made it more difficult with the brawler stunning u!

Anyone spending real money on this game is nuts!! Nothing is that hard to find that you need to spend real money for

The cost of the Survivor Guide is $5, which is about a cup of Starbucks coffee. Forego one Starbucks trip and you've just saved yourself enough money to "afford" the Survivor Guide.

I agree though, you don't need to spend money on this game because you can find/build anything. However, I disagree that anyone spending money on a game is nuts.
