But the guide or kefir will curse you with same sex puppies forever unless you carry sticks and stones in your pockets

Ja, I got lagging getting worse, hope it gets cured soon...
Rest stops are about impossible lately, ain’t worth doing if you die trying...
Pull my hair out frozen for 3 secs with 30hp, mid air, stabbing buttons for nothing, no hope to time it right, rhythm all poo...
    Ahhhhh... :confused::mad:

Lag kinda kills the game...it got better for me from updates 1.82 til 1.96...but now 1.97 is terrible...you ever see your character turn black...my guy randomly turns black then my game freezes haha

Never thought I'd put money in a mobile game. Maxed out boom beach for free, almost there with clash of clans for free and always see that as part of the challenge. Decided to treat the guide like a DLC due to its tasks and not buying items directly. It's a bargain compared to everythin else they ever offered and I don't feel I'm cheating.

The thing is, it's so easy to be an internet tough guy. I highly doubt Andy would call some random stranger "nuts" in real life, otherwise he would probably get challenged. It may seem like a completely harmless word but it's really just as egregious as calling someone stupid in real life.

To Andy, honestly, you'll probably reply with some snark remark but this is a real lesson, there's no reason to call anyone names, however harmless you may think, online.

I’m not one for spending on mobile games, mainly because they don’t hold my attention for more than a few weeks, and I believe the vast majority of mobile gamers share similar views. However as mobile games are becoming more advanced and addictive I see the trend changing.

I’ve been playing LDOE for over a year now and have enjoyed it so it’s probably about time I made a contribution.

€5 for the pack is peanuts to me and so I will buy it.

    Oh did I mention ‘nuts’....sorry!

    Hello! New here...

So I have been playing for a few months now and it was a no brainer to buy the survival guide for me. I play the game in my free time and I love it, so why not?? It's no different than paying for a video game at Gamestop or whatever.

I also bought enough coins to get to level 40 on the guide and finish my chopper Finally!

I don't get the argument here. I work 50+ hours a week and can afford it. I really enjoy playing the game so why not?

Well, according to some, you're nuts. According to some others, you're peanuts. But according to a few others, including myself, you've made yourself a really great purchase. Enjoy the game how you want and thanks for supporting Kefir :)

Actually, it's such a good deal, I want to buy two starter guides, does that make me double nuts? Or a bag of peanuts... This thread is quite a good read, just bought me a €20,- bottle of wine for the read and €15,- of cheese to go with it, hell, I'd pay to be a member of this great forum :)
Oh and for all those with wine, I'll share my cheese (for free)..

Because not everyone has the same amount of time to dedicate to a game that may require a lot of grinding. For some people, grinding is an option. For those others, it just isn't.

So any dogmatic view on whether or not paying makes sense is a product of being closed-minded.

    Hope that helps.

True. However as LDOE is still a single player game there is no urgency to accelerate character advancement. Reducing ‘the grind’ gives no competitive edge as the end game content can be reached and enjoyed on any players timeline. Which is the beauty of the game.

True. It is great for those of us who lost everything and don't have the time to do the grind again though. Im a lot of oak trips away from a full stone base again, at least I got to change the base layout, and can put a safe room in the middle of the base and not at the edges like before.

I can't buy the guide at the moment for various reasons but if I was to buy it next week, would I get the level rewards backdated or only from when I brought the guide?
